Work is ongoing on improvements to the retaining wall and parking areas. A large monument sign will be installed with LED capabilities, in preparation for two additonal buildings when lease capacity for existing building reachs 70%.
Improvements to the connecting walkway
The walkway connecting the lower and upper stores has been landscaped and is looking very good.

New Parking Lot – Courtyard Level
The New Parking Lot in front of Building 3 Courtyard level is complete is available for use . More parking and Landscaping is underway right now with work being done to complet the rear retaining wall. A new electronic monument sign will grace our Village in the next few weeks.
In addition to more parking, things are looking great, we have hydro seeded grass on the hillside. It’s both looking pretty and preventing erosion. White barrier fencing and additional parking spaces have been marked out at the entrance to the Courtyard level. Our landscaping is maturing, come on up and check it out.
Connecting Walkway
The Walkway that connects the Lower level (between Building 2 and 3) to the Courtyard is now be open. Lighting is making this area both safe and very attractive. New informational signage will also be added to this area.
Progress
Our stores are expanding, developing and investing in their own future and that of the Village. Some are moving to more prominent locations and we have new store moving in. In this respect West Village is one of the few Shopping Centers in SW Virginia making progress towards what should, and will be, a more vibrant and prosperous future in which to serve our customers for decades to come.
